Gino Clair Earns Lafrance Performance Performer of the Week With a Pair of Top Five Finishes to Close Out 2014 Regular Season

Although the 2014 racing season has all but come and gone, with the regular season coming to a halt this past weekend, there are still plenty of big events on the horizon as Lafrance Performance and their clients look to make their mark.

At Autodrome Granby on Friday night, Gino Clair led the Lafrance Performance team with a solid fourth place finish. Alain Boisvert also had a strong night, bringing home a great sixth place finish in the night’s 75 lap main event. Boisvert finished out the 2014 campaign at Granby second overall in the battle for the track title, while Mario and Gino Clair also had a strong season, both finishing amongst the top ten.

The action moved on to Autodrome Drummond the following night and once again it was Gino Clair with a second place finish coming out on top from the Lafrance Performance shop. Gino finished two positions ahead of brother Mario, who crossed the finish line in fourth place. Gino finished the season in 3rd place at Drummond, just five points ahead of Mario who finished 4th overall in the championship standings. Dominic Dufault also had a strong season, coming home in the ninth position.

Lafrance Performance would like to congratulate Gino Clair for his strong week. He is this week’s recipient of the Lafrance Performance performer of the week award. Congrats to Gino and the team on a job well done, not only this weekend, but throughout the 2014 campaign.
