After an impressive run at Cornwall Speedway last week in the 100 lap Big Block Modified Super DIRTcar Series using his Lafrance Performance Small Block, Alain Boisvert backed that up with another great night at Autodrome Granby this past Friday night, picking up his first feature win of the season. Mario and Gino Clair also used their Lafrance Performance motors split twin 40 lap features at Le RPM Speedway.
At Autodrome Granby on Friday night, Boisvert powered to the lead on lap 23 of the 50 lap main event and held strong over the final half of the race to claim victory. Gino Clair finished strong in fourth place.
Lafrance Performance motors made it to Victory Lane twice at Le RPM Speedway as Mario and Gino Clair split the victories on Saturday night. Gino Clair dominated the first 40 lap event that also had Dominic Dufault in sixth place with his Lafrance Performance power followed by Mario Clair in 7th. Mario Clair took home the win in the second 40 lap race, taking the lead on lap 27.
“Lafrance Performance would like to congratulate Mario, Gino and Alain on their wins this weekend”, says Yves Lafrance. “We are proud to be a part of your engine program”.
