The extraordinary power provided by Lafrance Performance engines continues to propel local racers into victory lane. After two consecutive wins at Autodrome Granby with Gino Clair and Alain Boisvert, Lafrance Performance goes back to victory lane this week at RPM Speedway in St. Marcel Quebec as Chris Raabe picks up his fifth overall win of the season and first of the season at RPM.
Raabe in fact had a strong weekend, finishing third at Mohawk Raceway on Friday night, and a win and a seventh place finish in double features at RPM. The success through the first half of the season has him at the top of the standings at both Mohawk and RPM, and second place in Cornwall Speedway.
Mario Clair also had a good night at RPM Speedway, finishing on the podium in both events. He finished second behind Raabe in the first race, and finished a strong third in the second event.
Alain Boisvert drove his Lafrance Performance powered car to a third place finish on Friday night at Autodrome Granby while Gino Clair also ran in the top ten with a seventh place result. Mario Clair battled to a sixth place finish in the 50 lap main event at Mohawk Raceway.
