After posting back to back feature wins with Chris Raabe last weekend, Lafrance Performance returns to victory lane with the Napanee, Ontario racer once again this week at Autodrome Drummond. Lafrance Performance power also guided several other clients into top five finishes at area tracks.
The weekend started out strong on Friday night at Autodrome Granby as both Yan Bussiere and Alain Boisvert posted top five finishes. Bussiere crossed the finish line in third place, while Boisvert finished fifth.
At Autodrome Drummond, Raabe had a second place finish in his last start two weeks earlier and a win at Drummond’s sister track RPM Speedway last week as well as a win last Sunday at Cornwall. In addition to that, he also had a second place finish on Friday night at Mohawk International Raceway. A 50 lap feature for the Modified division was on the card at Drummond and Raabe picked up his first career win at the track. Fellow Lafrance Performance client Mario Clair was also in the top five.
With Cornwall Speedway getting rained out, the weekend was cut short for Lafrance Performance. With Raabe’s big win at Autodrome Drummond, he becomes the Lafrance Performance performer of the week for the second consecutive week.
