It was a solid night at Le RPM Speedway in St. Marcel Quebec for Lafrance Performance clients in their 358 Modified DIRTcar Series event on Friday night. Mario Clair drove to victory in the 100 lap event, while fellow Lafrance Performance competitor Chris Raabe crossed the finish line in second. Gino Clair also battled to a fourth place finish, making three drivers in the top five using Lafrance Performance engines.
Mario Clair’s 100 lap win at Le RPM Speedway puts him fifth place overall in the DIRTcar 358 Modified Series point standings and only 47 points out of first place. Teams will now have a couple weeks off to prepare for the 42nd annual Super DIRT Week in Syracuse, New York with Weedsport Speedway on October 9th, Rolling Wheels Raceway Park on September 10th, and the New York State Fairgrounds on October 11th and 12th. The 2013 season finale will come at Brockville Speedway for the 1000 Islands RV DIRTcar Northeast Fall Nationals on October 18th to 20th.
Without a doubt, Mario Clair and his team earn Lafrance Performance performer of the week for this week. With Super DIRT Week and the Fall Nationals remaining, Lafrance Performance would like to wish all of our clients good luck, and we look forward to seeing you in victory lane.
